National Seminar on Recent Trends in Education Policies - IFT


National Seminar on Recent Trends in Education Policies, a collaborative initiative by the All India Ideal Teachers Association (AIITA), Tamil Nadu Chapter, and the Education Department of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Tamil Nadu.

ЁЯУН Held at the IIC Hall, IFT Complex, Perambur, Chennai, this enlightening seminar is scheduled for the 15th of June, 2025.

With a keen focus on the evolving educational landscape of India, particularly the National Education Policy (NEP), this event aims to provide a critical platform to analyze its impacts, challenges, and opportunities for the future of our nation’s learning ecosystem.



Esteemed Speakers:

  • Dr. Jasim Ahmad, Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, will shed light on Indian Society and the Education Sector, emphasizing key policy considerations.

  • Dr. Aerum Khan, Associate Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, brings insights into Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity in the Indian Scenario.

  • Mr. Faqrudeen Ali Ahmed.V, Deputy Correspondent and Education Department Member, JIH Tamil Nadu, will decode the NEP's effects on Indian society, its pros and cons, and state-level responses.

  • Ms. Shayma.S, Sub Editor and Research Scholar at JNU, will discuss the Responsibilities of Social Groups on NEP.

  • Dr. Sadat Hussain, researcher in education policy and economics, explores the Evolution of Indian Education Policies, from pre-independence to NEP.

  • Mr. Md. Farid, from MTB, New Delhi, offers a global lens on Education Policies: Impacts and Causes with Reference to World Trends.
