Using Shareit as a Remote Slide Mover / Presenter

We all have know the benefits of using a mobile slide mover or wireless slide mover, it gives the presenter the freedom to displace himself from the computer and gives him more freedom to use his gesture to explain the concepts. During the presentation at times the battery of the slide mover might drain, or it might behave indifferently and in most worst scenarios we would have forgotten it to pack it along with our computer.

The shareit app will help us during these scenarios.

The shareit app. Almost all latest android mobile phones have this app pre-installed to transfer files between phones. With an extension of this application we can use this to access the files on our computer, share files from phone to computer, backup files, and also control the ppt.

All we need to do is download the shareit for PC from the following link: http://www.shareitforpcdownload.com/

and install this on your computer (desktop / Laptop)

ensure you have the latest version 3.0 or above for this purpose.
Now click on the click here to connect to the phone.

Now your computer will search for the nearest gadget with shareit app, and it will display a qrcode.












Follow the step below on your android phone:

click on the shareit icon and launch the app.

Click on the three (3) vertical dots as shown in the picture below:

 

You will get a sliding screen select connect to PC option:

 

When you the get the screen below click on "scan to connect"

 

Your phone will search for devices as shown in the picture below:

 

At the same time click on the "click here to connect to the phone" on your computer.

 

You will get the message as connected to computer/laptop or the name of the computer in this case Thameem.

Now you may choose the option that you want to use, since this illustration is for using shareit for remote presentation we'll select the ppt control option.

Select the PPT Control option and if you have opened up any powerpoint presentation in slideshow mode you can move the gesture as described in the picture below and conduct your presentation.
