Chinese doodles, written communication skills game like Chinese whisper

Training energizers - games that can be played to enhance understanding of the concept and to break the monotony or boredom during training programs.

*Chinese whisper in words.. Chinese Doodles...*

Time for activity:* 10~15 mins

*Team size:* 10~12; if the participants are more teams can be divided and activities can be run parallely.

*Materials :*

A strip of paper to write 1-2 sentences.
A pen or pencil.

*Method.*
The trainer to write the first phrase (incomplete sentence) and ask the next in team (1st member) to continue the sentence and form a story line...
After the 1st member writes his part, the trainer's bit of paper is archived and the 2nd member gets to see only the 1st member's sentence... Now the 2nd member doesn't have access to the trainer's message and he can continue the story only with the 1st member's script...after the 2nd member completes his sentence the 3rd person gets to see only the 2nd person's script and both the trainer's and 1st member's script are archived...
After the entire team completes this activity all the archived scripts should be read in serial order and everyone to enjoy the fun every script brings unexpected twists and turns in the story...

*Eg for trainer's first sentence..*
1. If Cinderella wore free size shoe to the party...
2. After a dreadful night shift I was so hungry and I opened the fridge to find...
3. On a road trip with my friends after 30 mins of drive we just realized...

*Application:*
This can be used for situations where the trainee focusses on the last message and responds to a situation instead of the trail of communication.
When we tend to decide the context of the text on few lines of a paragraph instead of going through the entire text.
The client's needs or the customer's concerns and requirements are over read leading to loss of time, quality and reliability.
